Thursday 1/27/22

I GOT MY OWN LIBRARY CARD hahaha idk that felt really cool to me. I also got 2 poetry books, 'milk and honey' and 'the sun and her flowers'

I read the whole book called 'milk and honey' and I loved it.

then I went to bed early. it was a good self care night.

Friday 1/28/22

today was a big day for me, I decided to really take care of myself and love myself. I took a journal and I titled it 'Project: Love Yourself'

my friend shared with me some podcasts and a book to read and I loveee them

I started listening to the podcast 'The Mindset Mentor'

and I started reading a book on my phone called 'The Art of Letting Go'

I wrote notes about the book and the podcast and im learning so much I love it.

that night I read my patriarchal blessing and wrote notes about it. then I also read my Book of Mormon and wrote notes about that too.

Saturday 1/29/22

I studied the Book of Mormon a lot today. I was in Mosiah and I read a lot about how God will deliver us out of bondage and he will ease our burdens.

I loved the quote at the end of 14 "I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions."
HE IS WITH US. we are not alone. trust him and trust his timing.

that night I went grocery shopping with Mariah ockey!!

then that night I continued to read the book "the art of letting go" im obsessed with it.

then I practiced my talk for Sunday and went to bed early:)

Sunday 1/30/22

I taught the 5th Sunday (or a spoke for some of it)

we did a whole lesson on suicide prevention and I was able to share my story and the talk I gave in Nebraska. and it went SO GOOD. I think I was able to get my point across clearly and I wasn't nervous at all. I was very happy with how it went.

after church I studied the Book of Mormon some more.

and I made some little mini chocolate chip cookies and gave them to some of my friends.

then I listened to two talks from the October general conference. and I really enjoyed a talk given by Elder Rasband called 'The Things of My Soul'

he challenged us to do 7 things and then add 3 of our own challenges and I loved it so much im going to share.

  1. Love God the Father and Jesus Christ our Savior
  2. Love thy neighbor
  3. Love yourself
  4. Keep the commandments
  5. Always be worthy to attend the temple
  6. Be joyful and cheerful
  7. Follow God's living Prophets
I CHALLENGE YOU ALL TO BE MINDFUL OF THOSE THINGS
AND ADD 3 MORE FOR YOURSELF.

I have grown more personally this week and have found more love for myself this week than I ever have before. focus on you for a little if you need. its amazing. you are worthy and loved. you deserve love. I finally believe that about myself.

maybe breakups aren't so bad after all ahaha (jk they're the worst but im thankful for it)

I LOVE YOU ALL
