disneyland 😍😍😍😍
I got to go to Disneyland with my family this last weekend and it was so fun. I 💗 my family
My trip started very early.. waking up at 4:30 am and going to the airport (alone.. I flew out of provo and took myself to the airport) major adult moment.
there were sooo many cute guys on my flight, unfortunately I did not talk to any of them 💔
after I got off my flight I got a sweet text from Logan
then made it to the hotel and my dad was not thrilled to see mom and the kids had not eaten breakfast yet so I got to join them! I was happy because I was hungry and I was expecting to starve all day. So thanks family for stalling breakfast
Day 1:
first ride of the day at California Adventure was soaring over California... there is this little strap you use to buckle a little kid into the ride, its like a little loop between your legs, apparently Emma, Luke, and dad didn't listen to the instructions and they all used that child seatbelt hahahaha
we went on some little kid rides.. and waited way too long for them might I add... we rode this inside out ride and we waited probably 30 min and the ride was literally like 30 seconds of spinning then it was over #notimpressed but it's okay I got to be anger for a second
we have an obsession of .5 pictures so enjoy our pictures
we are also obsessed with taking photos with our super cool 3D glasses. we are so swag
we saw mom! im seeing double
while in line we played piano tiles (not sponsored)
dad and Claire also watched basketball games all day long. we kept up with march madness pretty well. unfortunately my team is out. and so is Emmas, that was a sad one.. Kentucky lost :(
dad found his true calling in life.. art! (actually though dad and I could not stop laughing because his looked so awful it was so funny.. we were wheezing)
we also ran into a marvel character we had absolutely no idea who he was but we were peer pressured by "Disney cast members" into interacting with him (not pictured).. I think we are better superheroes than whoever that dude was..
other pictures from California Adventure:
we ended the day at the park having a dance party with the Guardians of the Galaxy characters.. it was technically supposed to be a dance competition but everyone is a winner at Disney! (I think we won though)
then we ended the day with pizza in the hotel lobby, something we have to do every Disney trip.
Day 2:
I was woken up by my dad whisper screaming "GUYS IT IS 6 GET UP" hearing it is 6am did not encourage me to get up.. but I had to, because we have to get to the park before opening so we have no lines for like 20 min.
we made it to disneyland like an hour early and just waited to run in
us waiting:
right when the gates opened we ran to space mountain. one of the employees yelled at everyone running "STOP RUNNING. the ride will still be there when you get there.. it's not going anywhere" that wasn't comforting so we continued to run, and we made it with pretty much no wait 😎😎
then we went to the Alice in wonderland ride and there was some squeaking coming from these little girls.. my dad asked me if that was coming from the little girls shoes, and I was like there's no way that's so annoying no parent would purchase a dog toy sound squeak in a kids shoes. I said it has to be a toy.. then the little girl started walking and she did in fact have squeaking shoes.. idk why any parent would do that to themselves because it was so annoying, but my dad and I had a good laugh
just going to take a moment for everyone to appreciate Emmas outfit of the day:
something about us is we are really good at getting pictures of people we want pictures of.. Emma saw a boy from her old efy group from a long time ago so here is a cute picture of me and Luke to get him in the background:
here is another example of us using that photo tactic:
there is this Star Wars ride at disneyland that you are basically in a space ship and you each have a different job to do to try to beat the game.. im not really sure how to explain it. but Luke and I were put as the engineers of the ship.. as the employees were giving us our instructions Luke and I were making a handshake, Emma told us that the strangers we were riding with said they were worried about riding with us because me and luke were going to do a bad job because we aren't paying attention.. well we get into the ride and Luke and I immediately say to each other what are we supposed to do? have no fear though! we figured it out! we were actually so focused on it because we were afraid of upsetting the other people after Emma told us they were saying we were gonna ruin the ride for them... #bestengineersever
I think it is safe to say I do not like the ride splash mountain. I hate getting wet. dad agreed with me:
im convinced every single Disney character is in love with me, I made eye contact with a lot of them during the parade.
I asked Luke to send me pictures he took at disney a couple days after and he sent me these.. the best photos of me ive ever seen im so beautiful
on our lunch break (when I say lunch I mean granola bar, trail mix, and a box of nerds) Luke was having a really hard time peeling his orange:
heres a family picture! aren't we adorable
after Disney we left to go get food, on our walk to the restaurant dad was a hero and saved a baby deer.
it kinda looks like he's on a movie set.
Day 3:
beach day! (I say loosely)
it was freezing. we had to sit on a blanket for like an hour (I dont even know if it was an hour it felt so long) and freeze. we had to cuddle. and it started to rain. best beach day ever!
we then went and ate at a seafood restaurant. all 5 of us got chicken strips. yummy. then we also drew some pictures so enjoy our amazing masterpieces
then after that I left :( and then the family had fun without me for like 4 more days. I hate being an adult.
but it was so fun I love my family so much, I am very lucky.
